David Lasry is a Basel-based sound engineer and producer who mainly works as a mixing engineer. Over his 17+ years of experience, he has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Sirens Of Lesbos, Lost in Lona, Nomuel, Florias, Evelinn Trouble, Monumental, Nicole Bernegger, Diaz and many more. He works as recording, mixing, and mastering engineer, as well as a live sound engineer and producer. His work has also included the development and production of live shows, which he has taken on tours across Europe. During this time, he has refined his mixing and production approach to preserve a unique sound for each project. His primary goal is always to maintain the feel, vibe, and vision of the artist while elevating the music to the next level. In addition to this work, David has supported several artists in both studio and live productions, and has created sound design for film, commercial, and podcast. Mixing
I mix all kinds of music. Using a hybrid setup that combines state of the art analog equipment and digital tools, I shape each track according to its needs. When the music calls for it, I love hitting the tape or squash the drums to bring out the energy the track needs.
Producing
Can be as diverse as music itself. My goal is always to preserve the song’s original feel. Sometimes it’s just placing the mic in front of the artist; other times, it’s crafting a sonic landscape, adjusting arrangements, or even creating some chords or a melody, all in close collaboration with the artist and their vision.
Recording

Recording Livesessions
One of the things I love most as a music lover is capturing live performances. With my professional live and studio equipment, I can record all kinds of musical performances in a wide range of environments.
Mastering
Mastering, important as any other production step. It can add the final magic or risk losing the artist’s and producer’s intended feel. I offer stereo and stem mastering for streaming, CD, and vinyl, ensuring your music translates across all listening environments and is ready for release.
Mixing Live
My approach to live shows goes beyond creating a great mix. It`s about ensuring a consistent experience for the musicians and audience. To achieve this goal and work efficiently at festivals, it is important to prepare the technical and emotional environments in advance and removing any distractions to ensure the artistic performance.
